At the crossroads of culture, economics, and politics, the cultural and creative industry has in its DNA a mandate to create value and generate positive impacts on society by engaging citizens in creative and knowledge development activities, while at the same time they are juggling an increasingly challenging economic environment.
In pursuit of its impact, cultural organizations can devote themselves to collecting qualitative and quantitative data in order to integrate them systematically into their decision-making processes and the design of new services.
The Me-Mind project designed the Impact Canvas, which is a tool conceived to suit cultural and creative organizations that are interested in creating value and generating impact, but also in developing new ways of working with the support of data.
The tool, available in three different languages (Estonian, Italian, and English) is the resulting adaptation of the Business Model Canvas and helps organizations to think strategically about their activities for the benefit of their audiences and to define a priori parameters for measuring the goals achieved and the social impact generated on their audiences, including using data analysis techniques.
