Already several months Estonian National Museum and Domestic Data Streamers teams have been hard at work putting together an exhibition based on the results of the Me-Mind project. The exhibition tells a story about the impact of culture with the help of data visualisation. The exhibition Number Fascination opens finally this week and the DIY hall of the Estonian National Museum.
Opening the exhibition coincides with when Estonian National Museum hosts hundreds of museum professionals coming together for the European Museum of the Year Awards gala. As Tartu is preparing to host cultural capital in 2024, cultural institutions meet at the Estonian National Museum and have access to the insights of the project through the exhibition form.
Me-Mind project partners have worked hard to fill the empty white walls with fascinating insights about how we have historically started to be fascinated by numbers and measuring and how that has strong influences on our desire to measure culture.
📌 The exhibition will open on the 3rd of May at the Estonian National Museum!
Stay tuned for updates.
